Description:

Change the look of your Kore EDC belt in a few minutes. The Kore Essentials X Series Buckle is the ratcheting buckle for Kore 1.5" EDC belt straps, sold on its own. Swap it onto the strap you already own, replace a worn buckle, or keep a second style for dress and work. The strap is not included. See all Kore belt buckles.

Features

Patented spring-loaded ratchet: paired with a Kore 1.5" strap it gives 40+ positions in 1/4" increments, adjustable through the day without unbuckling.
Teeth plus two set screws: a row of teeth clamps the strap and two M4 x 7mm set screws lock it in, so the strap stays put.
Wrench included: a 2.5mm hex wrench and two set screws come with the buckle.
Same function, different looks: Kore says every X Series model works the same; only the style and finish change.
Fits Kore 1.5" EDC straps: Tactical Nylon, Full Grain Leather, Buffalo Leather, Armortek Leather™ and Executive Protection straps.
Choice of materials: zinc alloy in gunmetal, black, nickel or brass, solid stainless steel, or lightweight aluminum.

How to choose

Buckle: pick the style and finish you like; they all fit the same 1.5" strap. For the lightest buckle, X11 Black and X12 Black are aluminum at 1.6 oz. X4 Stainless Steel is solid stainless. Specs for each are below.

Questions about the X Series buckle

Will the X Series buckle fit my belt?

It fits Kore 1.5" EDC belt straps: Tactical Nylon, Full Grain Leather, Buffalo Leather, Armortek Leather and Executive Protection. It does not fit Kore Q Series, Ranch Series, Competition, Garrison, Battle or Duty belts, Kore fashion belts, or belts from other brands.

How do I put a new buckle on my Kore belt?

Loosen the two set screws on the back of the old buckle and slide the strap out. Push the strap fully into the new buckle's toothed receptacle, clamp the teeth down firmly, then gently tighten the set screws until flush. Don't tighten the screws before the teeth are closed, and don't overtighten them.

Is there any difference between the X Series models besides looks?

No. Kore says the function is identical across models; they differ in style, finish, size and weight. See the spec table above.

Will the buckle mark my leather belt?

The X3, X8 and X9 have a faux post that can contact a leather strap and leave cosmetic marks. The other models do not have that post.

Is the X Series buckle covered by a warranty?

Yes. Kore Essentials backs it with a one-year manufacturer's warranty against defects under normal use. Cosmetic wear, such as scratches, scuffs or fraying, is not covered. We're an authorized Kore Essentials dealer, so contact us and we'll help with the claim.
