The G- sizes keep the height, sleeve and inseam of the matching L, XL or XXL but add room through the chest, waist and hip (53–63 inches), so a larger-build rescuer gets a suit that fits without excess length. All measurements are body measurements in inches; dry sock sizes are men's U.S. shoe sizes.

Does the Ascent SAR have latex gaskets?
No. The neck is cinchable neoprene and the wrists are GlideSkin neoprene. They are less constricting than latex and give a nearly watertight seal, which suits wading and water-based rescues where comfort over a long shift matters. If your crew needs a fully latex-sealed suit, look at the NRS Extreme SAR.
Is the Ascent SAR waterproof?
The 3-layer Triton fabric is waterproof and breathable, with a TIZIP MasterSeal entry zipper and attached fabric socks. Because the neck and wrists are neoprene, expect a nearly watertight seal rather than a fully dry one during full immersion.
Can we add department patches?
Yes. Hook-and-loop patches on the shoulders are designed for attaching department badges, and SOLAS reflective tape is placed throughout the suit.
Is the Ascent SAR dry suit flame resistant?
No. The Ascent SAR dry suit is water rescue and paddling gear. It is not flame resistant, is not structural firefighting PPE and is not NFPA 1971 certified, so keep it away from fire and high heat.
