NRS's latex-gasket GORE-TEX dry suit for professional responders. The NRS Extreme SAR GORE-TEX Dry Suit (NRS item 22560.02) seals with latex neck and wrist gaskets and a GORE-TEX Pro shell with a PFAS-free ePE membrane, so swiftwater, flood and ice rescue teams stay dry through cold, long and demanding calls. Padding, Cordura reinforcement, SOLAS tape and badge patches are built in. Compare it with our other water rescue dry suits.

- Latex neck and wrist gaskets: for a fully dry seal, each protected by an adjustable hook-and-loop overcuff.
- Repairable gasket construction: designed so your team can repair and replace gaskets in-house.
- Cordura reinforced elbows, knees and seat: with added Ethafoam padding at the knees and elbows for impact protection on rocks, ice and debris.
- TIZIP MasterSeal front-entry zipper: with a protective flap, plus a front TIZIP relief zipper with flap.
- Hook-and-loop shoulder patches: for department badges, and SOLAS reflective tape throughout for low-light visibility.
- Built-in NRS Dry Suit Suspenders: a three-point internal attachment keeps the suit in place when wet or loaded with gear; remove them when not needed.
- Two hook-and-loop cargo pockets: a double-pull webbing waist belt, GORE-TEX ePE fabric socks and gathered elastic ankles with silicone dots that fit snug over boots.

Sizes: S, M, L, XL, 2XL, G-L, G-XL, G-2XL. Colors: Red, Safety Yellow. Our 2XL and G-2XL are the XXL and G-XXL rows on the chart.
The G- sizes keep the height, sleeve and inseam of the matching L, XL or XXL but add room through the chest, waist and hip (53–63 inches), so a larger-build rescuer gets a suit that fits without excess length. All measurements are body measurements in inches; dry sock sizes are men's U.S. shoe sizes.

Questions about the Extreme SAR GORE-TEX Dry Suit
Can the gaskets on the Extreme SAR be replaced?
Yes. The gasket construction is designed for easy in-house repair and replacement, so a torn neck or wrist gasket does not take the suit out of service for long.
Is the Extreme SAR fully dry?
Yes. It uses latex neck and wrist gaskets, a TIZIP MasterSeal entry zipper and attached GORE-TEX fabric socks. Keep the zippers clean and maintained for maximum dryness and a longer suit life.
Can we add department patches?
Yes. Hook-and-loop patches on the shoulders are designed for attaching department badges.
Is the Extreme SAR dry suit flame resistant?
No. The Extreme SAR dry suit is water rescue and paddling gear. It is not flame resistant, is not structural firefighting PPE and is not NFPA 1971 certified, so keep it away from fire and high heat.
What are the G- sizes?
