The NRS Rescue Board is built for the demanding work of swiftwater rescue professionals, giving a rescuer a fast, stable platform to reach and support a victim (NRS item 86094.01). Questions about the NRS Rescue Board
How rigid is the NRS Rescue Board?
Its drop-stitch construction inflates up to 20 psi, giving rigidity that rivals a foam or composite board while still folding for compact transport and storage.
What protects it from over-inflation?
A Leafield A6 pressure relief valve engages at 20 psi. The valve is screen-protected so river debris cannot get in and damage it.
Can it be towed or lowered?
Yes. Two reinforced 1.5 inch stainless D-rings on the sides of the bow are built to handle the strain of towing and lowering.
What comes with the board?
An NRS Super 2 high-pressure pump and a repair kit. It carries a 3-year warranty.
Is it flame resistant or rated for fire use?
No. It is a PVC water rescue board. It is not flame resistant, is not structural firefighting equipment and is not NFPA 1971 certified, so keep it away from fire and high heat.
Where can I buy the NRS Rescue Board?
