Description:
One rescue platform for water, ice and snow. The NRS ASR (All Surface Rescue) 155 Rescue Boat carries a rescue crew across open water, ice shelves and crusted snow (NRS item 86090.01). It is long enough for 3-4 people, wide enough to stay stable in turbulent water and open at both ends for pulling a victim aboard. Fire departments, ice rescue teams and swiftwater crews can compare it with our other rescue boats and boards.
Features
- Stable, crew-sized footprint: 15' 5" long and 49" wide carries 3-4 people with reliable stability in rough water.
- Rigid drop-stitch center deck: the 4" thick, 25" x 96" deck inflates to 10 psi for a stiff work surface, with drain holes that shed water fast.
- Open bow and stern: 25" x 34" end openings give rescuers better access for bringing a victim aboard.
- Armored underside: resists abrasion and damage from water obstacles, ice and crusted snow.
- Leafield A6 pressure relief valves: on each inflation chamber, so the boat can stay inflated in any ambient temperature. Side tubes release at 4 psi and the floor at 10 psi.
- Handholds everywhere: 26 interior handles plus grab line run through 20 1" side D-rings for rescuers and victims.
- Tow and lift points: three heavy-duty 2" D-rings on each end, plus padded, reflective carry handles on the sides and ends.
- High visibility: Hi-Viz Yellow with a red RESCUE panel and reflective accents.

Questions about the ASR 155 Rescue Boat
Can the ASR 155 be used for ice rescue?
Yes. It is built for water, ice and snow. The armored underside resists abrasion and damage from ice and crusted snow, and the open ends make it easier to pull a victim from the water onto the deck.
How many people does the ASR 155 carry?
Its 15' 5" length is designed to carry 3-4 people, and the 25" x 96" center deck is sized for a standard rescue crew.
Can it stay inflated in changing temperatures?
Yes. Leafield A6 pressure relief valves on each inflation chamber let you keep it inflated regardless of ambient temperature. The side tubes release at 4 psi and the floor at 10 psi.
What comes with the ASR 155?
A heavy-duty carry bag (48"L x 31"W x 13"D), two highly visible red 280 cm NRS PTR SAR Paddles and a repair kit.
Is it flame resistant or rated for fire use?
No. It is a water rescue boat made of PVC. It is not flame resistant, is not structural firefighting equipment and is not NFPA 1971 certified, so keep it away from fire and high heat.
