Questions about the R130 Rescue Raft
How many people does the R130 hold?
It accommodates six paddlers. You can also rig it with a rowing frame and a motor mount for an outboard.
Can it be lowered into position?
Yes. Slots in the floor and the D-ring placement allow webbing to be threaded through so the raft can be suspended and lowered.
What frame fits the R130?
NRS suggests a 60 inch frame width, with a maximum frame length of 72 inches. The center compartment is 37 inches wide.
What comes with the R130?
An NRS Super 2 high-pressure pump, six foot cups and a repair kit. It carries a 3-year warranty.
Is it flame resistant or rated for fire use?
No. It is a water rescue boat made of PVC. It is not flame resistant, is not structural firefighting equipment and is not NFPA 1971 certified, so keep it away from fire and high heat.
