The First Tactical Men’s Tactix 3-in-1 System Jacket (Style 118502) combines a waterproof, breathable, fully seam-sealed nylon shell with a zip-in softshell short jacket. Wear the shell alone in rain, the softshell alone in light weather, or both together when it is cold and wet. Zippered vents and a special underarm design keep you moving and comfortable.

- Triple adjustment hood: the First Tactical Rain Gutter Design™ keeps water from dripping on your face, and 3-way adjustment with molding memory wire lets you shape the hood so your vision stays clear.

Questions about the Tactix 3-in-1 System Jacket
What comes with the Tactix 3-in-1 System Jacket?
A waterproof, seam-sealed outer jacket shell and a zip-in softshell short jacket. The shell is also sold on its own as the Tactix Jacket Shell.
Can I wear the softshell by itself?
Yes. It is water and wind resistant outside with brushed fleece inside, so it works alone in light conditions or zipped into the shell for more protection.
Should I choose the System Jacket or the System Parka?
Both use a waterproof, seam-sealed Tactix shell. The System Jacket comes with a softshell short jacket; the System Parka comes with the longer Tactix Softshell Parka.
Is the Tactix System Jacket flame resistant?
No. The Tactix 3-in-1 System Jacket is not flame-resistant (FR) apparel and is not PPE or turnout gear. The shell is waterproof and bloodborne pathogen resistant, but it is not rated for fire.
