First Tactical Men's Tactix Jacket Shell

The waterproof Tactix jacket shell, on its own. The First Tactical Men’s Tactix Jacket Shell (Style 118520) is a waterproof, breathable, fully seam-sealed nylon jacket that keeps you guarded from the elements while you move. Zippered vents, a dual closing front, a triple adjustment hood and removable ID panels make it a serious duty shell. Wear it alone or layer a Tactix softshell underneath.

Features

• Waterproof, breathable 100% nylon shell: fully seam-sealed and wind resistant, so it keeps out rain and wind while letting heat and moisture escape.
• Bloodborne pathogen resistant fabric: First Tactical lists the shell fabric as resistant to bloodborne pathogens, a useful layer of protection on medical and scene calls.
• Zippered ventilation: open the vents to dump heat when you’re working hard.
• Special underarm design: built for freedom of movement when you reach, climb or lift.
• Dual closing front: a storm flap snaps over a 2-way zipper for a secure, reinforced closure that keeps out wind and rain.
• Triple adjustment hood: the First Tactical Rain Gutter Design™ keeps water from dripping on your face, and 3-way adjustment with molding memory wire lets you shape the hood so your vision stays clear.
• Removable hood: take it off and stow it in the special lumbar pocket when you don’t need it.
• Removable hook and loop ID panels: swap identification on and off to match the assignment.
• Built to layer with a Tactix softshell: wear it alone in light conditions or with a softshell zipped in for more warmth.
• YKK® zippers, Prym® snaps and Duraflex® hardware: proven name-brand zippers, snaps and adjusters.

• Tactix 3-in-1 System Jacket: waterproof jacket shell plus a zip-in softshell short jacket, sold together.
• Tactix Parka Shell and Tactix Jacket Shell: the waterproof shells on their own, with removable hook and loop ID panels, for when you already own a softshell or only need rain and wind protection.
• Tactix Softshell Parka: the zip-in liner from the System Parka, also sold separately; wear it alone in light weather or zip it into a compatible Tactix shell.
• Tactix Softshell Jacket: a waist-length ("Ike") softshell in the same stretch, fleece-lined fabric.
