- Waterproof, breathable 100% nylon shell: fully seam-sealed and wind resistant, so it keeps out rain and wind while letting heat and moisture escape.
- Bloodborne pathogen resistant fabric: First Tactical lists the shell fabric as resistant to bloodborne pathogens, a useful layer of protection on medical and scene calls.
- Zip-in Tactix Softshell Parka included: 85% nylon, 15% spandex 4-way stretch with a fleece lining; water and wind resistant on its own.
- Three ways to wear: shell alone, softshell alone, or both zipped together.
- Triple adjustment hood: the First Tactical Rain Gutter Design™ keeps water from dripping on your face, and 3-way adjustment with molding memory wire lets you shape the hood so your vision stays clear.
- Removable hood: take it off and stow it in the special lumbar pocket when you don’t need it.

Questions about the Tactix 3-in-1 System Parka
What comes with the Tactix 3-in-1 System Parka?
A waterproof, seam-sealed outer parka shell and a zip-in Tactix Softshell Parka. The softshell is also sold separately, and the shell is available on its own as the Tactix Parka Shell.
Can I wear the softshell by itself?
Yes. The softshell has a water and wind resistant exterior and a brushed fleece interior, so it works on its own in light conditions or zipped into the shell for more protection.
What is the difference between the System Parka and the System Jacket?
The System Parka comes with the Tactix Softshell Parka as its zip-in layer. The Tactix 3-in-1 System Jacket pairs its waterproof shell with a softshell short jacket instead.
Is the Tactix System Parka flame resistant?
No. The Tactix 3-in-1 System Parka is not flame-resistant (FR) apparel and is not PPE or turnout gear. The shell is waterproof and bloodborne pathogen resistant, but it is not rated for fire.
