Proximity Firefighter Hoods
Majestic PRO-X hoods are UL certified to NFPA 1970-2025 for proximity firefighting, such as ARFF and other high radiant-heat work. Majestic says they can also be worn for exterior and non-structural operations. Proximity hoods are not required to have a particulate barrier, so they are not structural hoods under NFPA 1970.
