Questions about the H441 hi-vis rain pants
Are these pants ANSI Class 2 or Class 3?
They are ANSI/ISEA 107 Class E. Class E covers hi-vis pants and shorts that are worn together with a certified Class 2 or Class 3 top; worn that way, the outfit can meet Class 3. On their own, Class E pants do not make you Class 2 or Class 3.
Are the H441 rain pants waterproof?
Yes. They have sealed seams and a PVC-coated shell, rated EN 343 Class 3:1 X with 5,000 mm water resistance.
Can I wear them over my regular work pants?
Yes. They are designed as lightweight overpants, with a fully elastic waist and snap adjustable hems so they go on and come off quickly over your own pants.
What sizes and colors are available?
Yellow or Orange, in sizes XS through 6XL. The orange version also carries RIS 3279 TOM Issue 2.
Are the H441 rain pants flame resistant?
No. It is not flame resistant (FR) and should not be worn where FR clothing is required. Hi-vis polyester can melt when exposed to flame or high heat, and it is not firefighting gear.
