Questions about the H444 contrast rain pants
Are these pants ANSI Class 2 or Class 3?
They are ANSI/ISEA 107 Class E. Class E covers hi-vis pants and shorts that are worn together with a certified Class 2 or Class 3 top; worn that way, the outfit can meet Class 3. On their own, Class E pants do not make you Class 2 or Class 3.
Are the H444 rain pants waterproof?
Yes. The PVC-coated shell has sealed seams and is rated EN 343 Class 3:1 X with 5,000 mm water resistance.
What is the difference between the H444 and the H441?
Both are Class E PVC-coated rain pants with the same shell fabric. The H444 adds black contrast panels to protect against dirt; the H441 is solid yellow or orange.
What sizes and colors are available?
Yellow/Black or Orange/Black, in sizes XS through 6XL.
Are the H444 rain pants flame resistant?
No. It is not flame resistant (FR) and should not be worn where FR clothing is required. Hi-vis polyester can melt when exposed to flame or high heat, and it is not firefighting gear.
