How much flotation does the NRS Zander PFD have?
It is graded by size: XS/M 65N / 14.5 lbs, M/L 70N / 15.75 lbs and XL/XXL 75N / 16.75 lbs, with a Performance Level 70 rating.
Can I attach MOLLE pouches to the Zander?
Yes. The chest has a MOLLE section, and there are more attachment points around the jacket for accessories.
Is the Zander a rescue PFD?
No. It has no quick-release rescue harness and is not listed as a Type V rescue vest.
How do I choose a size?
Measure your chest: XS/M fits 30 to 38 inches, M/L 36 to 46 inches and XL/2XL 44 to 56 inches.
Is the Zander PFD flame resistant?
No. The Zander PFD is water safety gear. It is not flame resistant, it is not structural firefighting PPE and it is not NFPA 1971 certified, so keep it away from fire and high heat.
