Description:
A comfortable front-zip PFD for everyday time on the water. The NRS Ambient PFD (NRS item 40117.01) balances flotation front and back for a slim, medium-profile fit with an easy front zipper. Two expandable zippered pockets and four attachment points carry the basics. It is a comfortable choice for recreational paddlers and for crews who want a simple jacket for training and boat transport; see our rescue PFDs and life jackets for Type V models.
Features
- Orbit Fit System: layered pieces of lightweight closed-cell foam are cut to a flexible, pre-curved shape that follows your body, so the jacket is comfortable without over-tightening.
- Every Body Design: one model is built to fit men and women, so there is no need for separate gender-specific versions.
- Graded sizing: flotation and the foam platform change with each size range, so each wearer gets an amount of flotation matched to their body size.
- Two expandable zippered pockets: room for on-water essentials.
- Four attachment points: front and back for a knife, lights or strobes, with 3M reflective accents.
- Balanced flotation: equal front and back foam for a slim, medium profile.
- YKK zipper entry and six adjustments: with a stretch knit lining and silicone-coated inner waistband.
