NRS Rescue Placards carry the text you choose in reflective lettering on a tough nylon patch, so swiftwater, flood and SAR teams can tell who is who at a glance (NRS item 99994.01). Hook-and-loop backing lets the same placard move between rescuers, PFDs, dry suits and bags from one mission to the next. They fit right in with the rest of our water rescue equipment.

Is the lettering reflective?
Yes. The lettering is 3M ReflectPRO vinyl, which meets retroreflective performance standards such as ANSI/ISEA 107, CSA Z96 and EN 471, so names and roles show up under lights at night.
What gear do the placards fit?

Can one placard be moved between rescuers?
Yes. The DuraGrip hook-and-loop backing is made for interchangeable use, so a placard can move from one rescuer or piece of equipment to another as assignments change.
Is it flame resistant or rated for fire use?
No. Rescue Placards are identification patches for water rescue gear. They are not flame resistant, are not structural firefighting PPE and are not NFPA 1971 certified.
