Description:
The low-profile Ninja, set up for sea kayaking. The NRS Ninja OS PFD (NRS item 40140.01) takes the Ninja's low-profile, side-entry platform and adds sea kayak features, including a drop-down clamshell pocket with a removable inner pocket for a radio or GPS. An internal webbing harness adds security, and five attachment points carry a knife, lights or strobe. It suits touring paddlers and open-water crews; see our rescue PFDs and life jackets for Type V vests.
Features
- Orbit Fit System: layered pieces of lightweight closed-cell foam are cut to a flexible, pre-curved shape that follows your body, so the jacket is comfortable without over-tightening.
- Every Body Design: one model is built to fit men and women, so there is no need for separate gender-specific versions.
- Graded sizing: flotation and the foam platform change with each size range, so each wearer gets an amount of flotation matched to their body size.
- Internal webbing harness: continuous, interconnected webbing adds security in live-bait drills and shoulder-strap grabs.
- Radio-ready clamshell pocket: a zippered drop-down pocket with hook-and-loop inner pockets sized for a radio or GPS, with exit room for antennas.
- Five attachment points: for a knife, lights or strobe, with extensive 3M reflective accents.
- Hand warmer pocket: a soft stretch-knit lining that doubles as quick storage.
- AirMesh lower back: adds ventilation and helps manage moisture.
