NRS lists 16.5 lbs of design flotation and a Performance Level 70 rating.
Will a VHF radio fit in the cVest?
Yes. Two expandable pockets with dual zipper entry are sized to hold a GPS or VHF radio.
Is the cVest a rescue PFD?
No. It has no quick-release rescue harness and is not listed as a Type V rescue vest.
How do I choose a size?
Measure your chest: XS/M is 30 to 38 inches, M/L is 36 to 46 inches and XL/2XL is 44 to 56 inches.
Is the cVest PFD flame resistant?
No. The cVest PFD is water safety gear. It is not flame resistant, it is not structural firefighting PPE and it is not NFPA 1971 certified, so keep it away from fire and high heat.
