The NRS Men's 3.0 Farmer John Wetsuit (NRS item 17266.05) pairs high-stretch OCENA neoprene with a full-length front zipper, so it goes on and off fast at the riverbank. Questions about the 3.0 Farmer John
What does Farmer John mean?
It is a sleeveless, full-length wetsuit that covers the legs and torso. Your arms stay free for paddling and rope work, and you can add a jacket or dry top over it for more warmth.
What are the G-L and G-XL sizes?
They are Grizzly sizes for broader builds. G-L fits the same 5'10" to 6'2" height range as L but with a 53–55 inch chest, waist and hip, and the same 29.5 inch inseam.
How thick is the neoprene?
The body is 3 mm high-stretch OCENA neoprene with titanium laminate adhesive, and the ankles, shoulders and knees use 2 mm high-stretch panels.
Will the zipper come open by itself?
The full-length YKK front zipper has a locking top stop that keeps it from opening unintentionally.
Is the 3.0 Farmer John flame resistant or rated for firefighting?
No. The 3.0 Farmer John is a neoprene wetsuit for water rescue and paddling. It is not flame resistant, is not structural firefighting PPE and is not NFPA 1971 certified.
