Questions about the 3.0 Ultra John
What makes the Ultra John different from the Farmer John?
Both use 3 mm OCENA neoprene and a sleeveless cut. The Ultra John adds a Graphene interior fabric that is quick-drying, wicking and adds insulation, plus 2 mm high-stretch panels in the shoulders and behind the knees.
How do I choose a size?
Match height, chest, waist and hips to the chart. A size L fits 5'10" to 6'2" with a 42–45 inch chest and 39–42 inch waist, and has a 29.5 inch inseam.
Does it have a relief zipper?
No. Entry is a YKK double-pull front zipper with a locking top stop.
Is it waterproof?
No. It is a wetsuit, so it insulates with neoprene rather than keeping water out. Glued and blind-stitched seams slow water flow into the suit.
Is the 3.0 Ultra John flame resistant or rated for firefighting?
No. The 3.0 Ultra John is a neoprene wetsuit for water rescue and paddling. It is not flame resistant, is not structural firefighting PPE and is not NFPA 1971 certified.
