Which boats use the Summit 2 valve?

How do I tell it apart from the Summit 1?
The Summit 2 has a blue ring on the inside. It also lacks the valve stem bridge the older valve had.
Do I need a special adapter to inflate it?
Per the spec sheet, it does not need the specific Summit valve adapter, because it has no valve stem bridge. A Summit 2 Valve Adapter with a blue ring is also sold separately. If you are unsure which fits your pump, contact us.
What wrench removes it?
The HR PVC valve wrench works with this valve, and the Summit and Halkey-Roberts New Short Valve Wrench removes Summit 1 and 2 valves.
Is the AIRE Summit 2 valve flame resistant?
No. It is a boat valve part for inflatables used in water rescue and river work. It is not flame resistant and not rated for fire or high-heat use.
