Which boats use the Summit 1 valve?
AIRE Tributary inflatable kayaks, including Tomcat IKs from 2003 - 2004 and Strike IKs from 2004 - 2006.
How is it different from the Summit 2 valve?
The Summit 2 replaced it on later boats and has a blue ring inside to tell them apart. Summit 1 and Summit 2 caps are not interchangeable.
What tool removes it?
The Summit and Halkey-Roberts New Short Valve Wrench (sold separately) removes Summit 1 and 2 valves.

Is the AIRE Summit 1 valve flame resistant?
No. It is a boat valve part for inflatables used in water rescue and river work. It is not flame resistant and not rated for fire or high-heat use.
