Description:
✅ IN STOCK NOW — while most dealers are still taking pre-orders on the all-new MK-2 Ultra.
Model #6877K — Certified Compliant to NFPA 1970-2025 Standard
Building on the MK-1 Ultra foundation, the MK-2 Ultra Structural Gloves are engineered for next-generation fireground safety and efficiency. Now certified to the NFPA 1970 Standard with official PFAS compliance, these gloves feature high-strength, extraordinarily flexible kangaroo skin palms and a goat skin back. This upgraded design introduces a modified fit and an integrated leather grab patch to notably improve wet don/doff performance. For maximum longevity, the palm-side fingertips now include a third Kevlar seam to enhance durability where it is needed most.
Superior Materials vs. the MK-2
The kangaroo skin version of the MK-2 — with the enhanced strength, durability and suppleness of this legendary, naturally water-resistant leather. Kangaroo skin is, ounce for ounce, the most durable leather, with up to 10 times the tensile strength of cowhide.

Proper Sizing
The first number in the size is the measurement of the firefighter's index finger. The letter comes from the width of the hand across the knuckles. See the sizing diagram (from NFPA 1971-2018, Protective Ensembles for Structural Fire Fighting and Proximity Fire Fighting) in the product photos for how to measure. If measurements fall between sizes, trade up.
Fit
The MK-2 and MK-2 Ultra have a more tailored, functional fit than other structural gloves, so many users trade up one size — especially those with relatively thick hands or fingers. A sizing try-on is recommended whenever possible, and it's important to size generously for best performance.
Wash Care
Hand wash in a mild detergent such as Tide Free & Gentle or dish liquid; gently wring out excess water; hang dry or machine dry on low-medium heat.
If a gear extractor must be used, do not use turnout gear detergent — its chemicals dry out the natural oils in leather; use Tide Free & Gentle instead.
After any wash, once the gloves have dried, rub Barbasol shave cream into the leather portions to preserve the natural oils and add longevity.
Warranty
Covered against defective workmanship or materials for the life of the gloves.
