Description:
A compact single-use restraint that folds flat and opens fast. The ASP Tri-Fold (ASP 56197) is a disposable restraint whose strap folds in three places, so it rides on a belt or vest without bulk. It is built for crowd control, military, aviation security and other jobs where traditional handcuffs are not practical. Each pack holds 10 restraints.
Features
- Folds in three places: stores small on a belt or vest, then opens into wide loops for quick application.
- Extra-wide strap with smooth edges: spreads pressure and keeps the edges from digging in.
- Enclosed ratchet block with shim guard: the ratchet is fully covered to resist picking.
- Molded pull included: tighten by hand quickly; an extra-long flex pull cord is available separately.
- Secondary compression lock buttons: squeeze them after tightening for added security.
- Newer polymer formulation: resists drying out and turning brittle, which adds strength and storage life.
Colors, pack size and removal
This listing is a 10-Pak in two colors: Black - 10 Pak and Yellow - 10 Pak. Black is the standard choice; the high-visibility yellow stands out in low light or mixed crowds. Once applied, a Tri-Fold has to be cut off, and a Scarab Cutter is the tool made for that job. For practice, use the red training version, which can be applied and released without cutting. Made in China. Ships as a 10-restraint pack.
