Military-spec warmth that works alone or as a layer. The Propper Men's Gen III Polartec® Fleece Jacket (Style F5488) is sewn to military specification GL/PD-06-03. Lightweight Polartec® Thermal Pro® fleece retains heat, nylon reinforcements add durability where it is needed most, and it can zip into military parkas or stand alone for active duty, field and outdoor use.

Questions about the Gen III fleece jacket
Is the Propper Gen III fleece flame resistant?
No. Propper does not make a flame-resistance or NFPA claim for this fleece. It is not flame-resistant (FR) apparel and is not PPE or turnout gear, so do not wear it where FR clothing is required.
Can I wear the Gen III fleece on its own?
Yes. It has plenty of warmth on its own, with internal chest pockets, hand warmer pockets and a place for name, unit and rank. It can also zip into military parkas as a midlayer.
What do the Short, Regular and Long lengths mean?
Each chest size (XS through 2XL) comes in Short, Regular and Long lengths, so you can match the fit to your height and torso.
Can I add name tapes or a unit patch?
The jacket has a place for name, unit and rank. For name tapes, embroidery or other custom decoration, contact us.
How does it compare to the Propper BA Softshell Jacket?
