The Propper Gen II Waterproof Parka (Style F541075) is the classic waterproof, windproof and breathable parka, crafted following the specifications of the GEN II ECWCS parka. A three-layer laminated nylon shell keeps out rain and wind, layers up for colder temperatures, and breathes well enough to wear as a warm-weather raincoat.

- 3-layer laminated shell: 6.2 oz 100% nylon plain weave laminated to a waterproof breathable membrane with a nylon backing.
- Waterproof and windproof, yet breathable: wear it over layers in the cold or alone as a raincoat.
- Fully seam taped: every seam and needle hole is sealed with waterproof tape to prevent leaks.
- Six external pockets: including two cargo combination pockets and two shoulder pockets.
- Internal chest pocket: hook-and-loop closure keeps small items out of the weather.
- Stowable, adjustable hood: pull it out when the weather turns.
- Hook-and-loop cuffs and integrated snow skirt: keep cold, wet and wind out.

Yes. The three-layer laminate is waterproof and windproof but breathable, and every seam is taped to prevent leaks.
Is the Gen II parka warm enough for winter?
It is a shell, not an insulated coat. Layer it over fleece or an insulated jacket for colder temperatures, or wear it alone as a raincoat in warm weather.
Is the Gen II parka flame resistant?
No. Propper makes no flame-resistance claim for it. It is not flame-resistant (FR) apparel, is not NFPA certified, and is not PPE or turnout gear.
