The Propper Quarter Zip Softshell Job Shirt (Style F5439) keeps the features of the original 1/4 Zip Job Shirt but wraps them in a wind- and water-resistant softshell. Fleece bonded inside keeps you warm, double-depth chest pockets hold longer radios, and canvas reinforcements protect the high-wear spots, so it looks professional from first call to last.

Is the softshell job shirt flame resistant?
No. The softshell job shirt is a polyester/spandex softshell pullover for station wear, work and cold weather. It is not flame-resistant (FR) apparel and is not PPE or turnout gear.
How is it different from the original Propper 1/4 Zip Job Shirt?
It has the same features, including hand pockets, a sleeve pen pocket and dual-depth chest pockets, but uses a wind- and water-resistant softshell bonded to fleece that won't shrink or fade like traditional cotton job shirts.
Is the softshell job shirt waterproof?
It is water resistant, not waterproof. A DWR treatment sheds light rain, and the softshell blocks wind.
Will a radio fit in the chest pockets?
Yes. The two double-depth chest pockets expand with hook and loop to hold longer radios without them falling out, and mic clips keep the mic within reach.
