Questions about the AS20 ESD T-shirt
What ESD standards does the Portwest AS20 meet?
It is tested to EN 61340-5-1 and also lists EN 1149 -5 for electrostatic properties.
How does the AS20 control static?
Carbon fiber is woven through the fabric and the rib, so the anti-static property is part of the fabric rather than a coating.
Does the AS20 have any metal parts?
No. It is an anti-scratch design with no exposed metal parts.
What sizes and colors does the AS20 come in?
Navy, Black and Zoom Gray in sizes 2XS through 5XL.
Is the AS20 ESD T-shirt flame resistant?
No. The AS20 is not flame resistant (FR) and should not be worn where FR clothing is required. It is general workwear, not FR protective clothing and not firefighting gear. Anti-static is not the same as FR.
