Questions about the AS22 ESD T-shirt
What ESD standards does the Portwest AS22 meet?
It is tested to EN 61340-5-1 and also lists EN 1149 -5 for electrostatic properties.
How does the AS22 control static?
Carbon fiber is knitted through the fabric, so the anti-static property is part of the fabric rather than a coating.
Does the AS22 have any metal parts?
No. It is an anti-scratch design with no exposed metal parts.
What sizes and colors does the AS22 come in?
Black, Navy and Zoom Gray in sizes 2XS through 5XL. A short sleeve version is the AS20.
Is the AS22 ESD T-shirt flame resistant?
No. The AS22 is not flame resistant (FR) and should not be worn where FR clothing is required. It is general workwear, not FR protective clothing and not firefighting gear. Anti-static is not the same as FR.
