Does the Union have latex gaskets?
Yes. The neck and wrists use latex gaskets, each covered by an extended volcano-style GlideSkin neoprene overcuff with mesh drain holes.
Can the gaskets be repaired?
Yes. NRS updated the gasket material and construction so they are easier to repair than earlier designs.
Will the Union seal with my sprayskirt?
Yes. The inner skirt and dual-adjust neoprene waist mate with your sprayskirt to keep you and your cockpit dry.
Is the Union flame resistant?
No. The Union is water rescue and paddling gear. It is not flame resistant, is not structural firefighting PPE and is not NFPA 1971 certified, so keep it away from fire and high heat.
How do I choose a size?
Use chest and sleeve. A size L fits a 40–46 inch chest with a 34–35 inch sleeve; check the chart if you are between sizes.
