How do I choose a glove size?
Use the chart: each size lists a hand width and length in inches. A Medium, for example, is 3 1/2 inches wide by 7 1/2 inches long. This glove comes in XS through 2XL (the chart's XXL). Between sizes or need help? Contact us.
How warm are the HydroSkin 0.5 Gloves?
They have a 0.5 mm neoprene core, rated by NRS for cool conditions. They cut the chill while keeping dexterity; for cold water, choose a thicker glove.
Are they waterproof?
No. The exterior has a DWR coating that sheds water, and the seams are not taped.
Do they grip when wet?
Yes. A silicone pattern on the palm and fingers provides grip in wet conditions.
Is the NRS Men's HydroSkin 0.5 Gloves flame resistant?
No. It is water rescue and paddling gear. It is not flame resistant, is not structural firefighting PPE and is not NFPA 1971 certified, so keep it away from fire and high heat.
