How do I choose a size?
Sizing is unisex and based on shoe size. For example, L fits men's 8–9 or women's 9–10, and 2XL (XXL on the chart) fits men's 12–13 or women's 13–14. See the full chart above.
Are the HydroSkin 0.5 Wetsocks waterproof?
No. They are wetsocks: the seams are flat-lock stitched and not taped, so water gets in. The 0.5 mm neoprene and titanium laminate keep you warmer while wet, and the DWR exterior sheds water.
Can I wear them inside rescue booties?
Yes. NRS designed them to add insulation under neoprene booties and wetshoes, and they also work with sandals.
How thick are they?
0.5 mm neoprene. Each pair weighs about 4 oz.
Is the HydroSkin 0.5 Wetsocks flame resistant?
No. It is water rescue support gear. It is not flame resistant, is not structural firefighting PPE and is not NFPA 1971 certified, so keep it away from fire and high heat.
