Is the Crux a front-entry dry suit?
Yes. It uses a waterproof, airtight TIZIP front-entry zipper, plus a front relief zipper with a protective cover.
Does the Crux come in Tall sizes?
Yes. M Tall and L Tall keep the M and L chest, waist and hip with a longer sleeve and inseam.
Can the gaskets be repaired?
Yes. NRS updated the gasket material and construction on the Men's Crux for a drier, more comfortable fit that is easier to repair than earlier designs. The latex neck and wrist gaskets sit under Glideskin neoprene overcuffs that protect them. Contact us for repair help.
Does it have an overskirt?
Yes. A 5 inch wide neoprene overskirt with a double-pull hook-and-loop closure works with a spray skirt.
Is the Crux Dry Suit flame resistant?
No. It is water rescue and paddling gear. It is not flame resistant, is not structural firefighting PPE and is not NFPA 1971 certified, so keep it off the fireground and away from high heat.
