Questions about the Leafield A7 recessed valve
What boats use the Leafield A7 valve?
The A7 was used in older Avons, RIB inflatables and dinghies before the B7 and C7 Leafield valves came out. To confirm your boat, check that it matches the part on your boat, or contact us.
Can I repair my A7 valve instead of replacing it?
Yes. Use the Leafield B7 and A7 Valve Repair Kit, sold separately.
Is the A7 valve boot included?
No. The A7 Recessed Valve Boot is a separate part.
Is it hard to install?
The working parts are housed in the inner portion of the valve, so installing them is a bit like building a ship in a bottle. Contact us if you have questions.
Is the Leafield A7 recessed valve flame resistant?
No. It is a boat valve part for inflatables used in water rescue and river work. It is not flame resistant and not rated for fire or high-heat use.
Where can I buy the Leafield A7 Recessed Valve?
Right here. The Public Safety Store is an authorized Leafield dealer. Outfitting a rescue team or need help choosing the right part? Contact us. Every order is covered by our price match guarantee and easy 30-day returns.
