Description:
The outer belt for a Kore 2" patrol setup. This Kore Essentials 2" Patrol Duty Belt is the outer belt only, with a patented track sewn into the back so it tightens or loosens in 1/4" steps without undoing the belt. It needs a Kore inner liner belt and a P1 or P2 patrol buckle, sold separately in Kore belt straps, inner belts and keepers and Kore belt buckles.
Features
- 2" wide, 7mm thick, rated to 30 lbs: carries a radio, flashlight, cuffs, baton and the rest of your duty gear.
- Hidden ratchet track: over 20 positions in 1/4" increments, adjustable all shift long.
- Power-Core™ reinforced center: adds stiffness and long-term support.
- Armortek or nylon: Plain Black and Basketweave are Kore's man-made Armortek material; Nylon Black is nylon. All attach to the inner belt with hook-and-loop. Assembled in the USA with imported materials.
How to choose
- Finish: Plain Black (smooth Armortek), Basketweave (Armortek) or Nylon Black.
- Size: one size, Regular (24"-48"); you cut it to fit.
- Buckle: not included. This belt works only with the Kore P1 and P2 patrol buckles, not D Series duty, Garrison, X Series or Western buckles.
Sizing: measure before you cut
| Size option | Fits waist |
|---|---|
| Regular (24"-48") | 24"-48" |
- Lay a sizing tape alongside the outer belt as a cutting guide (don't wrap it around your waist). Find your pant size and cut at that mark, cutting only from the end opposite the gray track. Example: a 36 inch pant size is cut at the 36 inch mark.
- Loosen the set screws on your P1 or P2 buckle, push the cut end fully into the buckle, close the teeth clamp completely, then gently tighten the set screws until flush.
- Put on your Kore inner belt, lay the outer belt over it, feed the tip through the buckle, tighten until snug and secure the tip with the included tip keeper.
- If the outer belt won't tighten enough, trim 1 inch at a time until it fits.
If your pant size is close to the top of the size range, do not cut. Try the belt on first, then trim.
Cut belts can't be returned or exchanged, so measure twice and cut once. See our return policy.

Questions about the Kore 2" Patrol Belt
What else do I need with the Kore patrol outer belt?
A Kore inner liner belt and a P1 or P2 patrol buckle. Kore says the outer belt must be used with its inner belt to get the micro-adjustable fit, and D Series duty buckles do not fit the 2" patrol belt.
Is the Kore patrol belt flame resistant?
No. It is a duty belt built for patrol and everyday duty wear. It is not flame resistant (FR), is not NFPA certified, and is not PPE or turnout gear.
Is the Kore patrol belt covered by a warranty?
Yes. Kore Essentials backs it with a one-year manufacturer's warranty against defects under normal use. Cosmetic wear, such as scratches, scuffs or fraying, is not covered. We're an authorized Kore Essentials dealer, so contact us and we'll help with the claim.
Where can I buy the Kore Essentials 2" Patrol Duty Belt?
Right here. The Public Safety Store is a firefighter-owned, authorized Kore Essentials dealer. Questions about sizing or an order? Contact us. Every order is covered by our price match guarantee and easy 30-day returns (uncut belts only).
