Kore Essentials 1.75" MOLLE Battle Belt [Outer Belt Only, No Buckle or Inner Belt]

The outer half of the Kore battle belt system. This 1.75" MOLLE outer belt carries your pouches, trauma kit and duty gear on two rows of MOLLE, and its hidden ratchet track lets you loosen or tighten in 1/4" steps without undoing the buckle. It comes without a buckle or inner belt, so it's the piece to buy for a replacement, a second color or a different MOLLE style. • Sizing tape and tip keeper included: everything you need to cut it to size and keep the tip tidy.

Kore notes that its aluminum belt mounts are not meant to be threaded through the MOLLE webbing; doing so can wear or damage the webbing, and that damage isn't covered by warranty.

How to choose

• Style: Standard MOLLE is stitched nylon webbing at 7 mm thick. Laser Cut MOLLE is a 5 mm laminate that's thinner and lighter.
• Color: pick the color that matches your gear. Kore's price list shows XL in Black.
• Size: Regular (24"-48") or XL (48"-60"), chosen by your waist. See the steps below.
• Buckle and inner belt: not included. This outer belt works only with Kore B1 and B2 battle buckles (not G Series, X Series, Western or fashion buckles) and needs a Kore inner belt for the micro-adjust feature. Shop Kore belt buckles.

Sizing: measure before you cut

Use the Kore sizing tape as a cutting guide only. Lay it next to the belt; don't wrap it around your waist. Always cut from the end opposite the track or flex section.

1. Cut the outer belt at your pant size. Example: a 36" pant size cuts at the 36" mark.
2. Cut the inner belt at your pant size minus 1 inch. Example: a 36" pant size cuts at 35".
3. Attach the buckle. Loosen the set screws, push the cut end of the outer belt fully into the buckle and close the teeth clamp completely before you gently tighten the screws flush. Don't overtighten.
4. Try it on. Run the inner belt through your belt loops, close the hook-and-loop ends and center the 4" flex section over your zipper. If hook-and-loop shows behind the flex section, trim the extra. Lay the outer belt over the inner with the buckle at the right edge of the flex section, ratchet it snug and tuck the tip under the tip keeper.
5. Fine-tune. If the outer belt won't tighten enough, trim 1 inch at a time until it fits. Once the fit is right, put the metal clip tip on the cut end of the inner belt.

Setup tip: bend the outer belt slightly backward to open the MOLLE slots, which makes mounting gear easier.

If your pant size is close to the top of the size range, do not cut. Try the belt on first, then trim.
