Description:
A complete battle belt that adjusts in 1/4" steps without ever opening the buckle. The Kore Essentials 1.75" MOLLE Battle Belt Complete Kit pairs a stiff nylon outer belt carrying two rows of MOLLE with Kore's 1.5" inner belt and a B1 or B2 battle buckle. It is built for training, range days, patrol and anyone running pouches, a trauma kit and other gear on the hip. Pick your buckle, style, color, inner belt and size below, or see all Kore MOLLE battle belts.
Features
- Hidden ratchet track with 20+ positions: tighten or loosen in 1/4" increments without removing or undoing the buckle.
- 1.75" wide, 7mm thick outer belt: nylon webbing with a Power-Core reinforced center and Super-Fiber inner lining for stiffness and support.
- Two rows of MOLLE: mount pouches, dump pouches, trauma kits and other gear right on the belt.
- Rated up to 20 lbs of gear: stiff enough to carry a heavy load without sagging.
- Low-profile Kore inner belt: instead of overlapping hook-and-loop that adds bulk, the 1.5" inner belt has a flexible section that adjusts together with the outer belt.
- Aluminum battle buckle: powder-coated B1 or B2 buckle; the belt accepts both.
- Complete kit: outer belt, inner belt, buckle, tip keeper, inner belt clip, sizing tape, hex wrench and set screws.
How to choose
- Buckle: B1 Battle or B2 Battle. Both are powder-coated aluminum and work the same way; pick the look you like. The battle belt only accepts Kore B1 and B2 buckles, not G Series, X Series or Western buckles. See Kore belt buckles.
- Style: Standard MOLLE or Laser Cut MOLLE. Both give you the same 1.75" belt with two rows of MOLLE; choose the look you prefer.
- Color: Black, Coyote, Green, Gray, MultiCam Black or MultiCam to match your kit.
- Inner Belt: Non-Padded Inner Belt or Padded Inner Belt (+2mm). The only difference is 2mm of padding for extra comfort under a loaded belt. Either one works with the micro-adjust system.
- Size: pick by your pant size, see the sizing section below. Regular fits 24" to 48"; XL fits 48" to 60".
Sizing: measure before you cut
| Size option | Fits waist |
|---|---|
| Regular (24"-48") | 24" to 48" |
| XL (48"-60") | 48" to 60" |
Battle belts are sized to your pant size with the included sizing tape (no add-on for carry style). Tip: bend the outer belt slightly backward to open the MOLLE slots when you install gear.
- Use the included sizing tape as a cutting guide only. Lay it next to the belt; do not wrap it around your waist. Always cut from the end opposite the track or flex section.
- Outer belt: find your pant size on the tape and cut the outer belt at that mark, from the end opposite the gray track. Example: a 36" pant size means a cut at the 36" mark.
- Inner belt: find your pant size on the tape, subtract 1 inch and cut there, from the end opposite the flex section. Example: a 36" pant size means a cut at the 35" mark.
- Loosen the buckle's set screws, push the cut end of the outer belt all the way in and close the teeth clamp fully first. Then gently snug the set screws until flush. Don't overtighten.
- Run the inner belt through your belt loops and close the hook-and-loop ends, with the 4" flex section centered over your zipper. If hook-and-loop shows behind the flex section, trim the excess. Put the outer belt on over it with the buckle at the right edge of the flex section, tighten until snug and tuck the tip under the tip keeper.
- Still too loose? Take the outer belt off and trim 1 inch at a time until it fits. Once the fit is right, attach the metal clip tip to the cut end of the inner belt.
If your pant size is close to the top of the size range, do not cut. Try the belt on first, then trim.
Cut belts can't be returned or exchanged, so measure twice and cut once. See our return policy.

Questions about the Kore MOLLE battle belt
Do I need the Regular or the XL battle belt?
Go by your pant size. Regular (24"-48") covers pant sizes from 24 to 48 inches and XL (48"-60") covers 48 to 60 inches. You cut the outer belt at your pant size and the inner belt 1 inch shorter, using the sizing tape in the kit.
Padded or non-padded inner belt: which should I pick?
The only difference is 2mm of padding. Pick the Padded Inner Belt (+2mm) if you carry a heavy load for long shifts and want more cushion, or the Non-Padded Inner Belt for the slimmest fit. Kore notes the battle belt must be worn with a Kore inner belt to use the micro-adjust feature.
What can I mount on the battle belt?
The two rows of MOLLE hold pouches, dump pouches, trauma kits and similar gear, up to 20 lbs total. Kore advises that its aluminum belt mounts are not meant to be threaded through the MOLLE webbing, because that can wear or damage the webbing and that damage is not covered by warranty. Shop Kore pouches and belt mounts.
Is the Kore battle belt flame resistant?
No. It is a nylon duty belt for everyday and on-duty wear. It is not flame resistant (FR), is not NFPA certified, and is not PPE or turnout gear.
Is the Kore battle belt covered by a warranty?
Yes. Kore backs it with a one-year manufacturer's warranty against defects under normal use. The warranty does not cover cosmetic wear such as scratches, scuffs or fraying, or damage caused by gear. We're an authorized Kore Essentials dealer, so contact us and we'll handle the claim for you.
