Description:
A spare or replacement 1.75" Garrison strap for your Kore G-Series buckle. This listing is the strap only, no buckle. Kore built the Garrison for range days, training, law enforcement and military use, with a hidden ratchet track in place of belt holes. Choose tactical nylon for the stiffest support or leather for a dressier look. Find more straps, inner belts and keepers in Kore belt straps, inner belts and keepers.
Features
- 40+ fit positions in 1/4" increments: the track is sewn into the back of the strap, so there are no holes and the fit is exact.
- 1.75" wide, 5mm thick: a wider strap that spreads out the weight of range and duty gear.
- Power-Core reinforced center: stiff enough to carry a heavy load without sagging.
- Rated up to 10 lbs of gear: Kore's rating for the tactical nylon Garrison, with a nylon outer and Super Fiber inner.
- Fits Kore G-Series buckles: works with the G1, G2 and G3 buckles; not with Battle buckles, X Series buckles or non-gear buckles.
- Tip keeper included: keeps the tail of the strap flat against your pants.
How to choose
- Color: MultiCam Black Tactical Nylon, MultiCam Tactical Nylon, Black Tactical Nylon, Coyote Tactical Nylon or Gray Tactical Nylon for the stiffest support; Black Leather or Brown Leather for a cleaner look. Kore's nylon belts are stiffer and built for heavier loads than its leather belts.
- Size: pick the waist range that covers your sized length, see the sizing section below.
- Buckle: not included. You need a Kore G1, G2 or G3 buckle; shop Kore belt buckles.
Sizing: measure before you cut
| Size option | Fits waist |
|---|---|
| Regular (24"-54") | 24" to 54" |
| Regular (24"-44") | 24" to 44" |
Kore notes the 1.75" Garrison width is not ideal for inside-the-waistband or appendix wear, so most people size it for outside-the-waistband use.
- Find your pant size using the ruler markings printed on the back of the belt.
- Add 4 inches to your pant size if you wear your gear outside the waistband (OWB), or 6 inches if you wear it inside the waistband (IWB). Cut at that mark with a sharp pair of scissors. Example: with a 34" pant size, cut at the 38" mark for OWB or the 40" mark for IWB.
- Use the included wrench to loosen the two set screws on the back of the buckle, then push the cut end of the belt all the way into the buckle's toothed receptacle.
- Clamp the teeth down firmly first, then gently tighten the two set screws until they sit flush. Don't tighten the screws before the teeth are closed, and don't overtighten them.
- Wrap the belt around your waist from left to right, feed it through the buckle and tighten until snug. The tip should reach about 3 inches past your first belt loop.
If your pant size is close to the top of the size range, do not cut. Try the belt on first, then trim.
Cut belts can't be returned or exchanged, so measure twice and cut once. See our return policy.

Questions about the Kore Garrison belt strap
Does the Garrison strap come with a buckle?
No. This is the strap and a tip keeper only. It fits Kore G-Series buckles (G1, G2 and G3). It does not fit Battle buckles or X Series buckles. Shop Kore belt buckles or complete Kore Garrison range belts.
Should I choose tactical nylon or leather?
Choose tactical nylon if you carry more gear: Kore's nylon belts are stiffer and built for heavier loads, with a 10 lb rating on the Garrison. Choose Black Leather or Brown Leather for lighter everyday loads and a dressier look.
Is the Garrison strap made in the USA?
Kore lists its USA Garrison tactical straps (the MultiCam and MultiCam Black options) as manufactured in the USA from US and imported materials, using US-made nylon webbing.
Is the Kore Garrison strap flame resistant?
No. It is a leather or nylon duty belt for everyday and on-duty wear. It is not flame resistant (FR), is not NFPA certified, and is not PPE or turnout gear.
Is the Kore Garrison strap covered by a warranty?
Yes. Kore backs it with a one-year manufacturer's warranty against defects under normal use. The warranty does not cover cosmetic wear such as scratches, scuffs or fraying, or damage caused by gear. We're an authorized Kore Essentials dealer, so contact us and we'll handle the claim for you.
