Kore Essentials 1.25" Slim Q Series EDC Belt

A slimmer 1.25" ratchet belt for narrow pant loops. The Kore Essentials Q Series is part of Kore's slim EDC belts: the same hidden ratchet track and reinforced core as the 1.5" belts in a narrower, lower-profile width. Choose leather or tactical nylon and a Q1 or Q2 buckle.

• Power-Core™ reinforced center: stiff where it counts and flexible where it should be, carrying up to 8 lbs of gear.
• Hidden ratchet track, no holes: over 40 positions in 1/4" steps instead of holes an inch apart.
• Leather or tactical nylon: full grain leather with a super-fiber inner, or tactical nylon in Black or Coyote.
• Q Series buckle: Q buckles fit all Kore 1.25" belt straps. Extra Q buckles are in Kore buckles.

How to choose

• Buckle: Q1 and Q2 are the two 1.25" Q Series styles; both fit the same strap and work the same way, so pick the look you like.
• Color: Black Leather or Brown Leather for a dress or casual belt; Black Tactical Nylon or Coyote Tactical Nylon for a field look.
• Size: pick the size shown for your color, then cut to fit. Kore lists the leather belt as fitting 24 to 44 inches. See the chart below.
• Gear clips: this is a 1.25" belt, so any clip-on gear needs 1.25" clips. 1.5" clips will not fit snugly; swap them before you wear the belt.

Sizing: measure before you cut

1. Find your pant size using the ruler marks printed on the back of the belt.
2. Add for how you wear it. Add 4 inches to your pant size if you wear your gear outside the waistband (OWB), or 6 inches if you wear it inside the waistband (IWB). Example: a 34 inch pant size means cutting at the 38 inch mark for OWB or the 40 inch mark for IWB. Cut cleanly with sharp scissors.
3. Attach the buckle. Back out the 2 set screws on the back of the buckle with the included wrench, then push the cut end all the way into the toothed side of the buckle.
4. Lock it in. Clamp the teeth down firmly first, then snug the set screws until they sit flush. Do not tighten the screws before the teeth are closed, and do not overtighten them.
5. Check the fit. Thread the belt left to right through your loops and the buckle and ratchet it snug. The tip should reach about 3 inches past your first belt loop.

If your pant size is close to the top of the size range, do not cut. Try the belt on first, then trim.

What's included

Your chosen Q Series buckle, the 1.25" belt strap, a hex wrench and set screws. A tip keeper is not included. The buckle attaches in a few minutes with the included wrench after you cut the strap.
