Kore Essentials 1.25" Slim Q Series EDC Belt Strap. A narrower 1.25" ratchet strap for everyday carry, sold without a buckle so you can pair it with a Kore Q1 or Q2 buckle. Features

• 1.25" wide, 5mm thick, up to 8 lbs.: a slimmer belt for IWB, OWB or appendix wear. Clip-on gear needs 1.25" clips; 1.5" clips will not hold snugly.
• 40+ positions, no holes: the track adjusts in 1/4" steps.
• Power-Core center: adds stiffness and support so the strap carries a load without sagging.
• Q Series buckles only: fits Kore Q1 and Q2 buckles. It does not fit X Series, G Series, Battle or fashion buckles. Shop Kore buckles.

How to choose

• Color: Black Leather or Brown Leather (full grain leather outer) or Black Tactical Nylon or Coyote Tactical Nylon (nylon outer). Both have a super-fiber inner layer. A tip keeper comes with the nylon straps only.
• Size: the size follows the material: leather is Regular (24"-44"), nylon is Regular (24"-54").

Sizing: measure before you cut

The buckle is sold separately; the steps below assume you have a Kore Q1 or Q2 buckle and its wrench.

1. Find your pant size using the ruler markings printed on the back of the belt.
2. Add 4 inches to your pant size if you wear your gear outside the waistband (OWB), or 6 inches if you wear it inside the waistband (IWB). Cut at that mark with sharp scissors. Example: a 34 inch pant size is cut at 38 inches for OWB or 40 inches for IWB.
3. Loosen the 2 set screws on the back of the buckle with the included wrench, then push the cut end of the belt all the way into the side of the buckle with the teeth.
4. Press the teeth down firmly first, then gently tighten the 2 set screws until they sit flush. Do not overtighten or strip them.
5. Put the belt on, feeding it around your waist from left to right and through the buckle, and tighten until snug. The tip should reach about 3 inches past your first belt loop.

If your pant size is close to the top of the size range, do not cut. Try the belt on first, then trim.
