Questions about the Revivex Pro Cleaner
What is wetting out?
It happens when dirt, oils or other contaminants overwhelm the durable water repellency (DWR) of a dry suit, dry top or other waterproof-breathable garment so it cannot breathe properly. Washing with Pro Cleaner may bring back the DWR function.
How many garments does a bottle clean?
It is 4x concentrated. 10 ounces can clean 24 garments.
Can I machine wash with it?
Yes. The packaging has complete instructions for both hand and machine washing.
Should I use it before a waterproofing treatment?
Yes. It is the first step before treating garments with Revivex Spray-On Durable Waterproofing or Nikwax TX Direct Wash-In Waterproofing.
Is the Revivex Pro Cleaner flame resistant?
No. It is a care and repair product for water rescue gear. It does not make gear flame resistant and is not rated for fire or high-heat use.
