Description:
Chain handcuffs with a color band so they are easy to tell apart. The ASP Plus Cuffs Chain Identifier (ASP 56062) carry a permanent colored band that helps agencies and officers tell their property apart. Some officers also use the color to note subjects in reports. Steel bows, made in Taiwan.
Features
- Colored Identifier band: a permanent structural part, available in Blue, Gray, Pink and Yellow, for instant visual recognition.
- Steel bows: Identifier models come only with steel bows.
- Forged 7075 T6 aluminum frame: strong and light, with smooth rounded edges instead of the sharp edges of stamped parts.
- Conical, flat contact bow: fits a wide range of wrists, applies quickly and is radiused to help prevent injury.
- Dual-sided keyways and double lock slots: both locks release with a single turn of the key, and colored indicators show lock status.
- Replaceable Lock Sets: the locks are unitized, so they can be serviced in the field or swapped for a different or high-security configuration.
- 1 Pawl configuration: every color is the standard 1 Pawl (Tactical) version.

Questions about the Chain Identifier Plus Cuffs
What colors are available?
Blue, Gray, Pink and Yellow. Pick the color in the options on this page.
What is the colored band for?
It is a permanent part of the cuff that gives quick visual recognition. It can help separate property between agencies or officers, and some officers use color coding in notes and reports.
Do Identifier cuffs come with aluminum bows?
No. Identifier models use steel bows. Non-Identifier Plus Cuffs are offered with steel or aluminum bows in separate listings.
Are these 1 Pawl or 2 Pawl?
All four colors are 1 Pawl (ASP's Tactical configuration). They open with the keys for that standard configuration.
Does the band change how the cuffs lock?
No. The lock, bow and frame are the same as other Plus Cuffs. The band only adds color identification.
