Bladders Inside, Welded PVC Outside
Every Tributary HD raft puts urethane AIREcell air chambers inside a fully welded PVC skin. If a chamber is damaged, you open the outer skin to reach it, rather than patching the hull itself. Leafield C7 valves and a fast-draining self-bailing floor round it out.

Tributary FAQ
-
Who makes Tributary rafts?
Tributary is AIRE's raft line. AIRE says Tributary boats are built to the same standards as AIRE boats, and they share AIRE's construction: urethane AIREcell bladders inside a PVC outer skin.
-
Are Tributary rafts rescue boats?
They are whitewater rafts, not certified rescue craft; AIRE lists no rescue or NFPA rating for them. Swiftwater and flood teams can use them as paddle or rowing platforms, but train your crew on the boat first.
-
Which Tributary size should we get?
The 9.5 HD is a paddle-only boat for an R2 or R3 crew. The 12 HD fits a 4-5 person paddle team, the 13 HD fits 7-8 paddlers or a rowing frame, the 14 HD runs a paddle crew or an oar rig with gear, and the 16 HD carries heavy loads and big crews.
-
Can I add seats to a Tributary raft?
Yes. The Tributary HD Strap-In Raft Thwart is made from the same PVC as the rafts, has a Leafield C7 valve, and sits high so paddlers can dig in. The piano hinge floor lacing gives many places to strap it. Choose the size that matches your raft.
-
What is the warranty on Tributary rafts?
AIRE lists a Tributary 5-year limited warranty on its Tributary HD rafts; that is separate from AIRE's 10-year warranty on AIRE-brand boats. The Public Safety Store is an authorized Tributary dealer, so send us your order number and we'll help with any claim.
