SureFire builds lights and the batteries that run them. The HL1 HelmetLight is a compact, variable-output light with white primary LEDs, colored secondary LEDs and an infrared IFF beacon, and it mounts to MICH helmets with an ambidextrous mount that has 20 preset positions. It runs on one 123A lithium battery, which is included.

SureFire 123A lithium batteries have a 10-year shelf life, and the SF18650B is a protected 18650 lithium-ion battery that charges from any USB port with its micro-USB cable.
