Is the Portwest F442 waterproof?
Yes. It is waterproof with sealed seams and is rated EN 343 Class 4:4 X, with 20,000 mm water resistance and a 20,000 g/m2/24 hrs breathability rating. The fabric is also windproof.
Is the F442 an ANSI hi-vis jacket?
No. Portwest lists it as non-ANSI. It is an enhanced visibility jacket certified to EN 17353 Type B3, with reflective tape to help you be seen in low light. If your job requires ANSI/ISEA 107 Class 2 or Class 3, choose a certified hi-vis jacket.
Does the F442 really pack into its own pocket?
