Questions about the AP80 Liquid Pro glove
What cut level is the Portwest AP80?
It is rated ANSI/ISEA 105-2016 Cut Level A1, with Abrasion Level 3 and Puncture Level 2. It is a liquid and grip glove, not a high-cut glove.
Is the AP80 good for wet work?
Yes. It is fully coated in smooth latex for maximum liquid protection, and the latex foam palm keeps a good grip on wet surfaces.
What is the AP80 liner made of?
A 13 gauge nylon and elastic knit liner under the latex and latex foam coatings.
Does the AP80 contain latex?
Yes. Both coatings are latex, so it is not suitable for anyone with a latex allergy.
Is the Portwest AP80 flame resistant?
No. The AP80 is not flame resistant (FR) and is not a firefighting glove. Do not wear it where FR gloves or structural firefighting gloves are required.
