A4 cut protection with knuckle coverage. The Portwest A621 is an ANSI A4 cut resistant glove with a nitrile foam coating dipped 3/4 of the way over the hand for extra protection on the knuckles. What cut level is the Portwest A621?
It is rated ANSI/ISEA 105 - 2016 CUT Level A4, with ABRASION Level 4 and PUNCTURE Level 4.
Why choose a 3/4 dipped glove?
The coating extends over the knuckles, adding protection from abrasion and bumps compared with a palm-only coating.
Does the A621 grip when wet?
Yes. The nitrile foam coating is designed for grip in wet and dry conditions.

Is the A621 glove flame resistant?
No. The A621 carries a contact heat rating (over 200°F), but that is not the same as flame resistance. It is not an FR glove, is not NFPA certified and should not be used for firefighting or where FR hand protection is required.
