Questions about the C7 and D7 Valve Adapter
Which valves does this adapter fit?
It threads into both Leafield C7 and D7 valves and seals with an O-ring.
Will it fit my pump?
It includes a 2 inch vinyl hose that connects the adapter to most pumps, with an 11/16 inch outside-diameter hose connection. Check that it matches the hose on your pump, or contact us.
Why use an adapter instead of holding the hose?
A quick twist locks it to the valve, so you can inflate alone with no leakage. That matters most with high-pressure drop-stitch inflatables.
What is it made of?
Sturdy plastic, with an O-ring seal. It weighs 1 oz.
Is the valve adapter flame resistant?
No. The valve adapter is a plastic pump accessory. It is not flame resistant and is not rated for fire or high-heat use.
