How do I choose a size?
Sizes 7 to 14 follow US men's sizing, and 5 and 6 are youth sizes. Half sizes should order one size larger; women should order one size smaller than their women's size.
How is the Comm-5 different from the Comm-3?
The Comm-5 uses 5 mm neoprene in the upper and insole for maximum insulation. The Comm-3 has a 3 mm upper with a 5 mm insole.
What do the heel colors mean?
Each size has its own heel panel color, for example size 9 is Light Gray and size 11 is Black, which makes sorting a shared fleet fast.
Are the seams taped?
No. The Comm-5 seams are not taped.
Is the NRS Comm-5 Wetshoe flame resistant?
No. It is water rescue and paddling gear. It is not flame resistant, is not structural firefighting PPE and is not NFPA 1971 certified, so keep it away from fire and high heat.
