Description:
A smaller Pilot that sits flat on your PFD and is ready the moment you need it. The NRS Co-Pilot Knife (NRS item 47303.04) packs a 2.8 inch partially serrated stainless blade and blunt safety tip into a 6 inch knife. Swiftwater and flood rescue teams, raft guides and paddlers use it for emergency cutting in tight spots where a longer blade gets in the way. See all our water rescue knives.
Features
- Nickel-plated 420 HC stainless blade: the coating helps resist corrosion in fresh water.
- Lie-flat Thumbs Up Sheath: low-profile and quick-release, it lets the blade go with a one-handed flick of the thumb.
- PFD lash tab mount with lanyard point: the sheath attaches to a lash tab, and a lanyard hole at the handle tip adds a backup in rough water.
- Partially serrated edge: reverse scallop serrations help sever tough fibers.
- Blunt tip and asymmetrical design: helps you orient the blade by feel and helps prevent injury in a tight rescue.
- Jimping on the spine: secure thumb placement so your grip does not slip.
- Rubber-overlay handle: glass-reinforced polypropylene with rubber for control when wet.
- Oxygen tank valve wrench: built into the center of the handle.
