Description:
A competition belt you can crank down tight, a quarter inch at a time. The Kore Essentials C1 Competition Belt uses a hidden ratchet track with 20+ positions, so you tighten your rig as far as you need without peeling and resetting hook-and-loop. Its very stiff, double-reinforced build holds your match gear steady, which is why Kore designed it for USPSA and IPSC events. See all Kore competition belts.
Features
- Hidden track with 20+ positions: adjust in small 1/4" steps for a tight, consistent fit stage after stage.
- 1.5" wide, 6mm thick: a stiff outer belt built for competition use.
- Double Power-Core reinforced center: extra stiffness and support so a loaded belt does not sag or twist.
- Rated for 15+ lbs: carries a full competition loadout.
- Scuba webbing outer belt: durable webbing outer layer.
- C1 buckle: a powder-coated ratchet buckle made for this belt.
How to choose
- Color: Black, Blue, Gray or Red. Pick your team color or match your gear.
- Inner Belt: No Inner Belt (Outer Belt + Buckle) is for competitors who already own a Kore inner belt or want to run the outer belt alone through their belt loops. Non-Padded Inner Belt and Padded Inner Belt (+2mm) make it a complete kit; the only difference between them is 2mm of padding.
- Size: one size, Regular (24"-48"). See the sizing section below.
Sizing: measure before you cut
| Size option | Fits waist |
|---|---|
| Regular (24"-48") | 24" to 48" |
Competition belts are sized to your pant size with the included measuring tape (no add-on for carry style).
- Use the included sizing tape as a cutting guide only. Lay it next to the belt; do not wrap it around your waist. Always cut from the end opposite the track or flex section.
- Outer belt: find your pant size on the tape and cut the outer belt at that mark, from the end opposite the gray track. Example: a 36" pant size means a cut at the 36" mark.
- Inner belt (if you ordered one): find your pant size on the tape, subtract 1 inch and cut there, from the end opposite the flex section. Example: a 36" pant size means a cut at the 35" mark.
- Loosen the buckle's set screws, push the cut end of the outer belt all the way in and close the teeth clamp fully first. Then gently snug the set screws until flush. Don't overtighten.
- Run the inner belt through your belt loops and close the hook-and-loop ends, with the 4" flex section centered over your zipper. If hook-and-loop shows behind the flex section, trim the excess. Put the outer belt on over it with the buckle at the right edge of the flex section, tighten until snug and tuck the tip under the tip keeper.
- Still too loose? Take the outer belt off and trim 1 inch at a time until it fits. Once the fit is right, attach the metal clip tip to the cut end of the inner belt.
If your pant size is close to the top of the size range, do not cut. Try the belt on first, then trim.
Cut belts can't be returned or exchanged, so measure twice and cut once. See our return policy.

Questions about the Kore C1 competition belt
Can I use the Kore C1 competition belt in IDPA matches?
Not as an inner-and-outer belt set. Kore notes IDPA rules require the belt to pass through at least two belt loops, which the two-belt setup does not do. For IDPA, wear the stiff 1.5" outer belt by itself through your belt loops, or use one of Kore's 1.5" EDC belts.
Which inner belt option should I choose?
If you need the full competition setup, choose the Non-Padded Inner Belt or the Padded Inner Belt (+2mm); the padded one adds 2mm of cushion. Choose No Inner Belt (Outer Belt + Buckle) if you already have a Kore inner belt or will run the outer belt alone.
Can the inner belt be worn by itself?
Yes. Kore builds the inner belt with trim along the edges and a Power-Core center, so it can be worn on its own as an everyday carry belt.
How do I cut the competition belt to size?
Lay the included tape next to the belt (don't wrap it around your waist). Cut the outer belt at your pant size and the inner belt 1 inch shorter, always from the end opposite the track or flex section. Then clamp the buckle on and fine-tune by trimming 1 inch at a time if needed.
Is the Kore C1 competition belt covered by a warranty?
